We are thankful to everyone who has helped us raise money by either taking on a personal challenge, donating tickets for events and organising wonderful events on Shivia's behalf. Here are some of the amazing things people have done to raise money for Shivia's work in West Bengal.....
• In October 2015 a team from Taylor Wessing in London took part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon raising over £1,000.
• In July 2015 Aba Ansah took part in a 50km charity bike ride in Scotland and raised £420.
• Deepak Nichani trekked from coast to coast across the UAE in aid of Shivia and raised £1,850.
• In January 2015, Frances Robinson and Helena Robinson raised money for Shivia by travelling 2,000 miles across India, in 2 weeks… on a rickshaw.
• In May 2014 Adrian Paterson from Artemis cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats - 100 miles every day for 10 days. He raised a staggering £13,000 for Shivia.
• Hazel Pursey did a parachute jump in aid of Shivia in August 2014.
• A huge thank you to Ms Mouse Allen who completed her first ever triathlon in June 2013 and raised nearly £2,000 for Shivia.
• In February 2013 and June 2015, a group of immensely talented musicians from Farnborough Sixth Form College performed a fantastic concert in St. Peter’s Church, Eaton Square, to raise funds in aid of Shivia. In total, these two concerts raised nearly £3,000. We would like to thank Mrs. Claire Tester for her tireless efforts in arranging both events.
• Vin Muria regularly donates a box at the Royal Albert Hall for which we are very grateful. Tickets have included Classical Spectacular, Madam Butterfly, Cirque du Soleil and Swan Lake.
